STERILISATION
At Foot Body Sole we pride ourselves on delivering clean and safe healthcare to all our patients.
Sterilisation of reusable medical instrumentation is a vital component of healthcare. Instruments are deemed sterilised when all forms of microbial life have been completely eliminated.
The Sterilisation process is comprehensive and has many components to ensure that instruments are safe to use on patients. Each phase of the cleaning and sterilisation process requires checks to ensure successful completion before the next phase begins. We always open sterile instrument packs in front of our clients, and ensure that they are safe to use before beginning treatment.
Instruments are cleaned, packed and sterilised after every encounter, making them safe for re- use more environmentally friendly than single use instruments.
The cleaning and sterilising cycle that we complete as Podiatrists is to the same standard as instruments used in hospital surgeries and dentistry.
Our Podiatry clinic has a sterilising area where strict guidelines ensure the process is up to the latest sterilisation standard, with external assessment occurring yearly and all staff trained appropriately on the process.
At Foot Body Sole we take pride in delivering safe general and surgical procedures, by working hard to deliver the highest quality and safe reusable medical equipment.
